Fantasy9 Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fantasy9 mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Fantasy9 LLC ("Fantasy9", "Company", "we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. By using Fantasy9, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are at least 13 years old, and
  • you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

If we learn that a user under 13 has created an account, we may terminate that account.

2. Account Registration and Authentication

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account using an approved authentication provider.

Fantasy9 currently supports authentication through:

  • Google OAuth
  • Kakao OAuth

Additional providers may be added in the future, including:

  • Apple OAuth
  • Naver OAuth

When you authenticate using a third-party provider, you authorize Fantasy9 to receive certain basic profile information from that provider.

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the security of your authentication account
  • all activity conducted through your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us promptly.

Fantasy9 may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Description of the Service

Fantasy9 is a fantasy baseball application that allows users to:

  • draft teams composed of real-world baseball players
  • compete against other users
  • receive scores based on the real-world performance of those players in official baseball games.

Game scoring is calculated using official league data feeds and statistical information.

Fantasy9 is provided for entertainment purposes only.

The Service:

  • does not involve gambling
  • does not offer wagering
  • does not offer cash prizes
  • does not require entry fees.

4. Fantasy Game Rules and Scoring

Fantasy9 calculates scores based on real-world baseball statistics obtained from third-party data sources.

Because the Service relies on external data providers:

  • statistics may be delayed
  • statistics may be incorrect
  • official league data may be corrected or updated.

Fantasy9 reserves the right to:

  • update scores
  • modify results
  • recalculate standings

if official statistics change.

All scoring decisions and game determinations made by Fantasy9 are final.

5. Stat Corrections and Game Adjustments

Official sports leagues occasionally issue statistical corrections after games have concluded.

Fantasy9 may update fantasy scoring and results to reflect such corrections. This may result in changes to:

  • match outcomes
  • league standings
  • team scores.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept that these adjustments may occur.

6. User Content

Users may create limited content within the Service, including:

  • team names
  • league names.

You retain ownership of the content you create.

However, by submitting content through the Service, you grant Fantasy9 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Service.

Fantasy9 reserves the right to remove or modify any content that:

  • violates these Terms
  • is offensive or abusive
  • infringes intellectual property rights
  • interferes with the operation of the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • create multiple accounts to gain a competitive advantage
  • manipulate league outcomes
  • exploit bugs or unintended gameplay mechanics
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • scrape or collect data from the Service
  • interfere with servers or infrastructure
  • use automated scripts, bots, or software to access the Service
  • harass or abuse other users
  • use offensive, unlawful, or harmful team or league names.

Fantasy9 may investigate violations of these rules and take appropriate action.

8. Cheating and Fair Play

Fantasy9 is intended to provide a fair competitive environment.

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • creating multiple accounts to influence league outcomes
  • collusion between users to manipulate results
  • exploiting software bugs or scoring errors
  • using automation or bots to gain an advantage
  • intentionally manipulating league structures.

If Fantasy9 determines that cheating or manipulation has occurred, we may:

  • remove teams or leagues
  • reset scores or results
  • suspend or terminate accounts.

Fantasy9 reserves full discretion in determining whether cheating has occurred.

9. Advertising

Fantasy9 displays advertising within the Service.

Advertisements may be delivered by third-party advertising partners.

Fantasy9 is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or policies of third-party advertisements.

Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and those advertisers.

10. Push Notifications

Fantasy9 may send push notifications related to:

  • game updates
  • league activity
  • service announcements.

You can disable push notifications through your device settings.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service and all related materials are owned by Fantasy9 LLC. This includes:

  • software code
  • design
  • logos
  • trademarks
  • content
  • game mechanics.

Fantasy9 grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

  • copy or reproduce the Service
  • distribute the Service
  • create derivative works from the Service
  • use the Service for commercial purposes without permission.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how Fantasy9 collects, uses, and protects user data.

13. Account Termination

Fantasy9 may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • you violate these Terms
  • you engage in cheating or manipulation
  • your conduct harms the Service or other users.

Account deletion requests may require identity verification.

14. Service Availability

Fantasy9 may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be:

  • uninterrupted
  • error-free
  • available at all times.

Features of the Service may change without prior notice.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

Fantasy9 makes no warranties regarding:

  • accuracy of statistics
  • availability of the Service
  • reliability of data feeds
  • uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fantasy9 disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fantasy9 LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Fantasy9 is not responsible for:

  • incorrect sports statistics
  • data delays
  • service interruptions
  • user disputes.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fantasy9 LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • your use of the Service
  • your violation of these Terms
  • your violation of applicable laws.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

19. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court.

You agree that:

  • disputes will be resolved individually
  • class actions are not permitted.

20. Apple App Store Terms

If you access the Service through the Apple App Store:

  • Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance.
  • Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the Service.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

21. Changes to These Terms

Fantasy9 may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes occur, we will notify users through in-app notices.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

22. Language

These Terms may be provided in multiple languages, including English and Korean.

If there is a conflict between translations, the English version shall control.
